Entry fees are paid either via British Cycling, who also provide public liability insurance, or via Eventbrite. A £1.00 handling fee is added to the entry fee by British Cycling and a similar levy by Eventbrite.

If you are ill or injured on the day of your event(s) and are consequently unable to take part, you may carry your entry forward to the following year, or alternatively, enter another Cycle Classics event at no extra charge. We do not offer direct refunds.

We will only postpone an event if a severe weather warning has been issued by the Met Office, which would pose a significant risk to participants. In such cases, we will reschedule the event. Riders then have three options:

  1. Ride in the rescheduled event.
  2. Defer their entry to the following year at no extra charge.
  3. Transfer their entry to any other Cycle Classics event at no extra charge. See cycleclassics.co.uk for details of our other events.

In the event of postponement of the event due to other safety concerns relating to the route (e.g. road collapse), riders will be able to carry their entries forward to the new date at no charge. As compensation, entrants will be offered free entry to any other Cycle Classics event.
